Royal Mail Strike Action
Royal Mail Industrial Strike Action
We have been informed that the Communication Workers Union (CWU) has called on its members who collect, sort, distribute and deliver parcels and mail to take strike action on the following listed dates:
Full service disruption on the following dates:
Thursday 24th of November
Friday 25th of November
Wednesday 30th of November
Thursday 1st of December
Friday 9th of December
Sunday 11th of December
Wednesday 14th of December
Thursday 15th of December
Friday 23rd of December
Saturday 24th of December
Unfortunately this may increase the advised delivery time frames stated on our website. We will not receive collections on the strike days where there is full service disruption. This is outside of our control and your order may take longer to arrive.
Although Royal Mail do have contingency plans, they cannot fully replace the daily efforts of its frontline workforce and as a result there will be disruption to normal daily service of parcels.
As a result of the strike action on these days, they will not be classed as working days as we cannot guarantee that Royal Mail will deliver parcels on these days.
Special Delivery post will not be guaranteed next day as a result of this and has been stated on the Royal Mail website.
Further information on the strike action and information can be found on the Royal Mail website via the following Link:

We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding as this is outside of our control and we hope that Royal Mail can reach a mutual understanding with the CWU
Kind Regards,
